Wow! How time flies.
It's the second of January and the year is already twice as big as it was yesterday.
Still crap though …
This morning I noticed I weigh the same as I did before the "party season" started. Okay, so I skipped most of the parties and didn't do Christmas, so it's not much of an achievement, but I still feel good about it. Yaay me!
Okay. Here's a quick assignment for you:
How many pounds did you put on over Christmas and New Year?
And Be Honest!
"Don't know" will be counted as twenty pounds, so watch it!

only 363 shopping days to Christmas !!!!!!!?!!
Surprisingly, I gained only 3 pounds. I was expecting much more, given that I had been eating a low-carb diet and have had a sugar headache since the middle of December. Tomorrow, I start fresh, but only because I don't want to feel fat and icky. I'm sticking to my resolution of not being motivated by what others might think.
Thanks, Mike. We all needed to now that.
And well done, Robyn.
Doubly well done for not giving a hoot what other people might think.
I really don't know. I go by how my clothes fit (they still do).
I have healthy food for my lunch today, and all the chocolate on the counter looks disgusting. So there might be hope for me yet.
Welcome to 2007, Sassy.
We waited two days for you to emerge, blinking into the new year and here you are at last.
If your clothes still fit, that's pretty good going. Well done.
It wasn't that bad. Really. I was away from home until last night, so I couldn't post.
And U know what's REALLY mind-boggling Divey Boy! Here it's still today and there it's already tomorrow...ooooooooooooooooooo! I learned a new British vocab word today...frottage! Thought it was a cross between fries and cottage cheese! ;-)
If don't know is 20 lbs whats I don't care? I now use my mind to attract the opposite sex as my body failed me a long time ago, as long as i am mentally aware hold on this isn't my blog who are you people?
Mmm … Frottage …
French I think, rather than English, Ame, but a splendid word nonetheless.
And yes, the time differences when blogging really twist my brain into knots.
I weighed myself at my uncle's house on Boxing Day and I'd lost 4 pounds since the last time about 2 months before.
I think the scales must be broken.
Yikes!
All these women losing weight over Christmas!
Now I feel like a right porker. Damn!
Well Dive i join you in not gaining, amazingly! I don't actually weigh myself but can tell by my jeans, which even more amazingly, are a little loose and my belt is tightened by one hole! I didn't indulge too much, though the chocs beckoned and jumped down my throat quite often. I've done quite a lot of walking and exercising (of the really fun kind) throughout so yes i'm feeling a little smug really. lol. Sorry Dive.
LOL Old K! Just read yours... lol.
i've never owned a set of scales and have never known how much i weigh so can't give you a figure, but i'm like sassy and go by how my clothes fit - and they're looser. one of the bonuses of not celebrating christmas, i guess, although i miss my ma's mince pies!
if it makes you feel any better, i still can't fit into any clothes in the shops here. feckin' pygmy culture.
