To my eternal shame, I'm having to postpone my drunk blogging until tomorrow.
My stupid friends over at Trellis Studio have invited me to a "dress up as a Mexican and bring musical instruments" party at the recording studio, as a consequence of which I have to stay sober until this evening.
I'll try to remember to take my camera. These parties can get quite … er … good.
Although, as I don't posses a sombrero, a poncho, or a magnificent Zapata moustache - and wild horses won't drag me into Norwich to buy them during the January sales - I'll just take a pencil and go as Jaime Hernandez.
So, apologies to Rootietoot and her crew, but I'll be NaDruBloDa-ing in the morning.

Can't you take a bottle of tequila? That should solve both problems - the lack of Mexican-ness and the lack of drunkedness.

I'm still going as Jaime Hernandez so I don't have to dress up (if I had Mex drag I'd wear it, believe me. It was just too short notice).
All I'm taking is a bottle of tequila (of course, Betty), a straw donkey with outsized genitalia and my vintage Martin D18. Oh, and a camera.
I am disappointed about the drunk typing extravaganza I was expecting, but now I can't wait to see pictures of the Mexican shindig. Those musicians can lose inhibitions faster than anybody. Have fun!

I've decided that I don't feel like spending Saturday AND Monday with a hangover, so I'm going to do it some other time, when no one expects it. They'll think I went insane.
