Still bedridden.
Just crawled into the studio on the way back from filling my water jug, to see who's about.
Someone has filled my sinuses with molten lead and is beating my face with a sledgehammer. And I still have a shivery fever. It's been forty-eight hours now, so it must stop soon (please) …
Hopefully I'll be back to normal tomorrow …

I was afraid you were still feeling crappy. Hope you feel better soon!
Thanks, Robyn.
I'm now crawling back to the pit.
Your Christmas post really did a lot to make me feel better.
If you die I will do a post in your honour and then burn it Viking style so forward me the money for a new computer just incase.
See what you get for travelling on public transport?
Feel better soon, Dive!
Take the damn decongestant. It's not natural, but neither is the crap in your nose.
That's such a pain--when someone says "head cold", it sounds so minor until you experience it and remind yourself just how miserable it truly is. Here's hoping 48 hours is as far as it goes.
You're all so wonderful.
I'm feeling much better this morning, thank you.
I've got a pounding headache, sinusitis, a horrible sore throat and a tramp's underpants instead of a tongue, but even that is SOOO much better than the last few days.
I also have a four day beard which I might keep (mostly as my face is too sore to shave at the moment).
I'll be back at the office tomorrow, so I'll have a good enough connection to post something properly.
Sounds like you've picked up the same particularly nasty bug as me. It took me a couple of weeks to get over it properly and the last thrupenny bit sized scab fell out of my nose yesterday.
(sorry if anyone's eating while reading this ...)
"Mmm … That's a keeper" (spot the movie … easy).
Goodness I didn't realise you were unwell Dive, and you've STILL been reading my novel. What a trouper i thank you! My very best wishes and a recommendation - warm milk, honey and a healthy dose of Scotch ..
Thanks Lynn.
Feeling much better now (thanks to my blog nurses).
