Please note that the Level 4 slide will be closed from 15 January as a result of the installation of the Gilbert & George exhibition.

You can get to Tate Modern over the wibbly wobbly Millennium Bridge (see my walky post for a pic), or from Tate Britain (about 100 yds from my office) via its own riverboat, the cornily monickered "Tate-A-Tate", which is a big glass boat with Damien Hirst spots all over it.
And a big bonus (for me, anyway), is the latest Gilbert and George exhibition.
In the guest bedroom I have two big, sweary posters from their "Dirty Words" exhibition at the Serpentine a couple of years back, signed by Gilbert and George in big, glittery felt pens (with kisses).

The Tate and the Serpentine are worth checking out. I saw a creepy exhibit at the Serpintine. It seemed appropriate.

Ame, this is going to be a lovely romantic trip for you and your husband. You have to take some time just sitting by the Thames, doing nothing but watching the world go by, holding hands, kissing,, i know Dive and Old K'll be throwing up by now but it's just the best! Best wishes for your trip and hope to meet you both if i can get there. Promise i won't cramp your romantic style though!
