D.C. also looks beautiful at night, only proving that artistic architects make beauty, politicians ugly lies. Politicians tack on gargoyles, trying to scare away the truth and the people who detect it, but the architect knows a real gargoyle from a fake.
WAtching the debates in Parliament I get the feeling that most of the members would make great fake gargoyle models. Look out for them in the Houses of Parliament shop next year.
So a "Halloween special" at the Parliament shop next year? Shop early for Christmas (for office parties and those hard-to-buy-for relatives)!
As for our (U.S.)erudite elected leaders: as a wise person once pointed out, there's a "con" in the word "Con-gress".
