Ooooh, bop.
Doh doh doh doh doh doh doh doh,
Fa - fa - fa- fa - Fashion …
We are the goon squad and we're coming to town (beep beep).
Mister Bowie was always a master lyricist.
And Old Dive is always a sucker for a good outfit.
Found this lady crossing Piccadilly and simply couldn't resist the "Gosh! Love your outfit. May I take a photo?" which invariably results in some nicely thrown poses.
My back is still seriously crocked this morning, but I have to struggle in to the office to get a tender issue out, dammit. Not the sort of thing I can trust to anyone else.
Painkillers and swearing ahoy!
Have a painless Friday, dress well and be careful of your back.

I don't know if that would work for me. It works for you because you are a ladykiller.
At least now I know what to wear when I visit.
Hahahahahaha.
Thank you, Petrea, for making me laugh so much that my back is now in agony.
The closest I come to being a ladykiller is watching them choke to death laughing when I ask for a date.
As for clothing: this woman is acclimatised; coming from Southern California you're going to need several more layers. Look online for "elegant Inuit-wear" … It's well below freezing here at the moment. Brr …
I know what you mean. Last time I returned to my old Chicago haunts in winter, the could felt outrageous to me--but it was a mild winter by their standards. At the same time, when it's 105F here and everyone else wants to leave town, I'm fine.
You are truly acclimatised to Pasadena, Petrea. Be grateful you're not visiting London this coming week as Siberia's weather is coming to visit and it's going to be well below freezing and blowing gales and blizzards.
I'll get my sunshine vicariously through your blog.
I've long imagined a Christmas-time visit to England, Dive, but perhaps not this year.
I would say "wait until global warming makes us more temperate" except that it now looks like climate change is moving our jetstream north so that our summers become stormier and our winters colder, eventually turning us into an outshot of Scandinavia.
So if you're coming over, make it soon.
And bring a big suitcase with some airholes in it so I can sneak back to California with you.
Will do.
