That is just gorgoeus, Dive! Why no lightbulbs in the nice porcelain sockets? Vandals, or suitable bulbs no longer available?

Those porcelain sockets are iron bolt heads, Speedway. This is high up on Blackfriar's Bridge across the Thames and is so splendidly tasteless that it's almost cool.

It is cool -- and it looks like it's well cared-for. Is Blackfriar's Bridge still a railroad bridge?

There's a road and a rail bridge, Ms.M. Plus the remains of the older bridge still standing in the water as removing it would upset the foundations of the rail bridge.
