Merci, Genie. I must confess that, much as I enjoy being middle-aged, the weight thing really sucks. I used to be so skinny and athletic but these days no amount of time in the gym seems to help. My love of cookery undoes all my good intentions. Sigh …
Probably impossible with your schedule, Dive, but I recommend you get an active dog that requires an hour's walk every day. It works for me. I feel guilty not walking him so even when I don't get my regular workout he gets his.
Kinda tricky as I'm away from the house ten hours a day, Petrea. Much as I love dogs, the house is a kind of open house for neighbourhood cats while I'm home and with a dog in here as well I can see a whole lot of smashed antiques heading for the bin.

Collectibles:
Bibendum (c. 1898)- $2,000.00
Dive (half that, approx.) - Priceless
It's my "Antiques Roadshow" viewing habit coming out, I'm afraid. What did you expect, "Tweedledee and Bibendum"?
The resemblance is uncanny.
Speedway, I always get confused between priceless and worthless.
Vanda, we all need rôle models and he's mine.
So which one of you really ate all the pies?
Me, me, me!
Letsee -
Michelin man: round, white, mute, ate all the pie plates. Dive: round, white, opinionated, erudite, maybe ate the pies.
I guess it'a tie
Why does the Michelin man have a ration book? Not enough rubber to go around?
You are twins! Thanks for the chuckle!
The Michelin man looks rather startled at having his photo taken. Just what were you guys up to with that ration book?
Speedway, I'm the one who put the rude in erudite.
Well spotted, Robyn. Ration books a t Goodwood entitle you to such delights as free cups of tea, so they're very handy.
Neetzy, we certainly are.
See above, Ms.M. I think he was just thirsty for the warm brown stuff.
I'm surprised he let you wear his outfit.
Hee hee hee!
I'm always a sucker for twinkie suits! You forgot to bloat yourself up on brats and beans before the shoot like your partner did though. :)
Hi, Shan! Actually, I was expecting one of your patented "Bwa-ha-haaa"s at my lardy-assed self and my twin.
I think that Speedway has the best lines here! Pretty crafty shot, mon ami.
Bises,
Genie

Hmm, yes, that's tricky. I suppose you could walk the cats.
Herding them is exercise enough.
