Flowers made from the blue of the sky. We have them here. They'd be a nice reminder to have on gray days, except you can't bring the flower sky inside without it withering away.
I agree with your mum. You have that architect's eye for great composition in all your photos. Sorry about not visiting lately. I can't seem to get things done lately-dream style.
At long last the heatwave has broken and we're back to sane temperatures, Speedway. It rained on me this evening and I didn't mind a bit. Those blue flowers are just as cheerful when the weather's dull as when it's shiny.
No worries, Shan. As for the composition, all I did was sit in the moat and point the camera up at the castle. Simple is often best.
Ms.M. I should have popped along there earlier. All summer the Castle mound is a mess of wildflowers. Some idiots complain that it's not very neat but I love it. You can judge by all the seed pods in the photo what it must have been like.

Isn't it just, Mum? I love cornflower blue.

Simple and lovely. And what a great name for a castle—Blanchflower.
Yup, half-Norman, half-Saxon, started in 1068. I'm so glad that I can look up from my desk at the new office and see the Castle on the skyline.
Love those blue flowers. I have them around here. Tried to paint them in from the meadow across the road and then the trees morphed into faces...
Nice photo; wonderful shade of blue. Good tribute to the last of the season.
Neetzy, please send me some of those drugs.

A beautiful picture.
Thank you, Petrea. It was a beautiful day. Blue flowers, blue sky, castle … All I had to do was point and click.
