Well, that's my pointless pursuit accomplished. Way back in
December, 2006 I managed to post 47 things in a month (admittedly not all of them worth posting) and this month I
set myself the utterly pointless task of beating that.
So welcome to my fiftieth post of the month!
Pointless but pretty.
Next month I'll probably post bugger all.

Not pointless, Dive. Just about every structure except for the boat has at least one point on it, maybe more.
Pointy pointlessness?
It's not often that I get to mosey along that particular stretch of the South Bank, Speedway, and I was really lucky with the weather. I had to switch to manual focus for this shot, however, as the pesky autofocus kept snapping to the lamp post.
Great shot I love this one.
Next time we're in London we'll do the South Bank. Bring your walking shoes and a spare pair of legs. You'll need 'em.
My little camera interferes with my focus intentions, too. There doesn't seem to be a manual setting, which keeps me from taking a lot of close-ups. Humph.
Doh! I hate it when that happens. Modern technology has a long way to go before we stop swearing at it.
I happen to love these pointless pics. They allow me to travel without a passport and a load of credit card debt. : )
I love anything pointless. Everyone needs to embrace the pointless.
Katherine, I'll happily continue my pointlessness if it helps keep your spending down.
Maria, embracing pointless things is a lot less painful than embracing pointy ones.
What a great photo, though! Yep, in 2006, we posted all the time, a few times a day, even. Good for you for beating that—I'm lucky if I can create one a week these days.
Those were the days, Robyn.
I have to admit that posting photos is cheating, but it gave me a month of pointless pleasure.
Great "pointless" photo. You've definitely made your point :-)
Hee hee. Thank you, Ms.M.
Aha. Now I know why I'm having trouble keeping up.
Hard to keep up with that, though I do try.
Tis indeed a great photo of some fabulous structures. A treat for this antipodean's eyes.
Petrea, I won't be doing another post sprint for a few years so we can both relax now.
Thank you, Mme. Too kind as ever.
