Walk This Way

In answer to your inevitable question: yes, I did. The street was pretty much deserted and I imagine the folk in the offices there are too bored to notice any more.

I was in London all day today (until I misjudged the bottom step coming down into Trafalgar Square and twisted my ankle, necessitating a taxi straight back to the station and some degree of profanity).
Now home and drinking heavily and medicinally.
No doubt there will be a rash of London photos over the following days.

You minced? Maybe that's the reason you twisted your ankle.

I'm so glad you got to spend the day in London, but it's a shame you hurt yourself. Can't wait to see the photos.

Yikes. Hope you feel better. I have crappy ankles. Hope yours are better than mine.
I wouldn't even think of walking on Mincing Lane with my ankles.

Is the Ministry of Silly Walks nearby? Perhaps you should get a grant to pay for therapy and to improve your "mince."

Remember R-I-C-E, Dive. I've an ankle I've damaged a number of times over the years and the above is always of great help. Poor baby. :(

Sorry you hurt your ankle! Especially while mincing! Speedway is right about R-I-C-E. Of course, a little libation can also help ease things a bit :-)
Take good care --

I'm sorry I laughed, but I pictured you mincing down Mincing Lane and then falling on your arse at the last step, feet in the air, and somehow...

I hope you're enjoying your alcohol.

I have seen some of the photos, of London… not Dive mincing!you are in for a treat.

You are a lucky chap to have so much sympathy…

Vanda, I'm certainly mincing today, but only through necessity. Actually, I'm more hicking than mincing but it still hurts, dammit.

Savannah, BBC and BGM are too cute for words. I have GOT to get some sleepwear like BGM's. Dig those guitars!
xoxoxoxo

Robyn, you'll soon grow tired of them. When I unloaded my camera I found I'd taken around 400 of them. Sheesh!

Sorry to hear about your ankles, Neetzy; my left one sympathises with you this morning. With me it's my knees and back that are past their sell-by dates. Getting old sucks.

Hahahahaha, Speedway. What an excellent notion. Unfortunately the Ministry of Silly Walks is about five miles west of Mincing Lane.
You'll have to enlighten me about the RICE acronym; I'm always confounded by those things.

Thank you, Ms.M. I'm slightly wooly-headed this morning from too much medicinal Scotch, but it certainly helped me get to sleep.

Hee hee, Petrea. I am fully deserving of some light mockery and am laughing along with you.

Mum, it certainly helps cheer me up. Yay for Blogville neighbours!
