Predictably …

Dammit! The Guardian has sold out to The Man! They've started putting dumb fucking adverts at the start of their "Olympics: Brick by Brick" videos.

Still, it's fun to watch Usain Bolt do what he does best … in Lego.

Those times are insane, especially considering that they have to get their little feet to match onto the round thingys, every stride, every step.

Weirdly, they do it the other way round in the real race, fitting the spikes in their running shoes into the holes in the track, oh, soooo carefully. It must take tremendous concentration.

I think the Legos is harder. The athletes have such thick ankles, no doubt from twisting them so often on the dots.

You'd think the thick ankles would limit movement but the Lego women's gymnastics a few days back was as graceful and elegant as the real thing.

And why "Highmark"? for an advertisement. It is a United States Health Insurance Company. I heard you could only get this race around here on "Pay Per View".

Somebody in Guardian's back room "Lego Squad" must have run up a big food delivery bill -- or some kind of bill. Thus, the ads. When I watched, a young woman was pushing medication for yeast infections. Very athletic.

I think you guys must have different ads over there; probably targeted regionally. It's a strange world.
