Just because we won a gold in the dressage doesn't mean I want to watch it. Preening upper class twits forcing noble animals to do what doesn't come naturally … an event that should have gone the way of animal circuses and been banned years ago.
We also won a gold today in the women's boxing. Boxing is never something I've enjoyed watching either but Nicola Adams has fought a bigoted and misogynist male-dominated Olympic Committee for many long years to finally succeed and see her sport recognised as something other than "foxy boxing."

I've never been a fan of boxing, but Adams's tenacity and spirit is admirable. Yay for her winning the gold!
Is the Guardian Lego Squad going to do boxing? I'd watch that.
After our comments a couple of posts ago, I'm not sure I really want to know what our Lego squad is going to do next.
