Pop quiz …
Hokay.
One question (in three parts) …
… and don't Google this; a wrong but silly answer still gets points.
"Where and doing what (and wearing what colour lipstick) did John and Yoko's "Beautiful Boy" Sean Lennon make a cameo appearance in Buffy The Vampire Slayer, playing … er … John and Yoko's "Beautiful Boy" Sean Lennon?"
Answer (with screengrabs) in the next post.
Apologies to the un-Buffsters for yet more Buffy, but that's what you get when I re-watch the whole seven series, and I have a busy day ahead and may not have time to post anything worth reading.
Apologies to Kate for this being too easy.

ooops - I know the parts but not the answer.
Now that we've survived Christmas are you ready for Valentine's day?
Ew! No way, Isadora!
Check out my Valentines post from last year to learn lots of nice new swearwords.
And do you really have home delivery sushi?
Wow! I'm going to have to move to Budapest!
I must have missed that episode :D but I was an avid fan!

Okay she was leaning over the dead body of someone close to her. Her lipstick was Chanel Rose Baby.
You've probably seen it but didn't notice him, Joy.
Er … Sean's a boy, Lynn.
Nice lipstick, but the wrong colour.
LOL. Ri...iight. Ok then he was going through some files at the time. The lipstick was bright red.
Hee hee, Lynn.
I don't think you're going to get this one.
Actually this has me vexed as I never realised that the lennon sap was in buffy.
Now i have to google it.
On;ly you would notice the incidental people who drift through buffy without ever making it to the wah-ing intro clip.
Then again i spend most of my time perving on buffys bouncing bits or chanting "Fuck spike."
As to what I do when Faith is onscreen, well thats an entirely x rated blog comment.
Sorry Joy but Angel is as interesting as watching paint dry. Tortured soul my arse, he's just a manic depressive with a trenchcoat. Give me a bad bleached boy any day.
As to the lipstick, buffy usually wears the peach, (season one, wears the peach for her date with owen as well) never joyce's harlot red that faith chose in the fourth season bodyswitch episode when she had joyce hostage.
However the buffster did step up to more grown up non virginal colours of lipwear in the middle of the fourth series.
I so need to get a god damned life don't I.
I just googled it.
Eyebrows raised. I shoulda known.
Now i remember the episode, she may have been wearing something slightly sluttier than the peach to go with the fuck you attitude she was portraying at the time.
Wow.
That's about all I can say on this one--to both the questions and the extensive answers.
She certainly was in full-on slut mode, Kate.
As for Harlot: "Faith chose that? Burn it!"
And you had need raise your eyebrows. I was counting on you to get this without even thinking about it.
And who needs a life when you can shut the curtains and go live in Sunnydale?
Katherine; you so need to watch Buffy. Hee hee.
I never take notice of the band, usually full of scary asian looking women sqwarking out Bjorks greatest hits, or at least thats what it sounds like to me.
Giles with a guitar on the other hand, simply brilliant. The musical episode high camp trash indeed but so much fun and yes i brought the soundtrack.
BTW - Buffy dancing with her friends during the "Passion" episode when angel is stalking her, a far more erotic encounter.
Well.
Sean Lennon escapes my attention because he (sadly) doesn't have tits. So I'll guess:
Where: Hunched over a bar.
Doing what: Being drunk and feeling sorry for himself.
Lipstick colour: Tragic pink because he's really a failed drag queen.
Just give me a point for answering.
Yikes, Kate! That's Cibo Matto, my favourite Buffy band of all!
For more about Giles on guitar, see the next post.
Hee hee hee.
You do indeed get a point for answering, Vic. But that's the only one I'm afraid.
There may be something to make you drool in the next post … Musically, I mean … We're talking MMW.
Hun, I just watched that episode again for refreshment of the mind and the singers choice of plastered on makeup indeed covers scary, far scarier than my child monster guitarist.
I've got a bunch of screengrabs which I'll be posting with the answers when I get home this evening, Kate.
I'm on series five now, by the way, and Spike just had the nightmare where him and Buffy go for the snogfest thing in his crypt. Hee hee hee. His face was a picture!
sorry dive but I've never seen this show. But the idea of a woman vampire excites me..why?-- i don't know.
Rich: Pretty young girls, scantily dressed, running around shrieking and kicking serious vampire ass, plus some sexy girl vampires and great music, hilarious comedy and scripts so sharp you cut yourself just listening to the dialogue.
Buffy was truly one of the best shows ever produced. Watch it from episode one, my friend.
Series five - the emergence of the bratty sister. I'm not a massive dawn fan at all.
The arrival of Glory, the fashionista Hell God with the as spike put it "skanky lopsided ass".
And probably one of the most powerful episodes of buffy, one without much music - the death of joyce episode.
To quote from Moulin Rouge - "And in the end should someone die?"
Dawn was a royal pain in the ass, as was Glory, but Joyce's death was handled brilliantly and a real shocker first time around.
Call me weird, but one of my favourite things about series 5 was Giles' magic shop and all the comedy skits they did in there.
