Binge Drinking Babies

Start 'em young, I say …

People wonder why this country has a problem with underage binge-drinking.

Well, pop along to your local Boots and check out their "baby food" section.
Bucks fizz, scotch whiskies, Bailey's and Stella for the little ones, and all at three for the price of two!
The side aisles were chock full of ciggies, prescription drugs and condoms.

Uncle Dive says:

Hey, kids!

Swearing, smoking, drinking, drugs, sleeping around …

If your parents do it then you can do it too.

Don't get left behind.

Start now!

Oh, and talking of babies (or at least annoyingly young people):

Happy Birthday, Vic!

Yaaaay! Drink Sydney dry tonight, Groover!

I think Dive is going to grow donkey ears and be forced to work in the mines--very sad.

Hee hee.
It's not ME peddling alcohol to babies; it's our biggest chain of chemists!

Remember those candy cigarettes that used to be so popular? I blame them for making me become a smoker at 14...Well, that and the cool girls in the bathroom at high school.

I wonder if I have a lawsuit here that could net me some income....

Savannah: I walked into the store and my eye caught "Baby Food" and I looked down and there was all this booze!
I couldn't resist it.

Yikes, Maria! I'd forgotten them! I remember posing with those stupid things when I was a little kid.
Luckily I didn't get hooked.
The only tobacco I have ever smoked is a Cuban cigar I smoked in front of George Bush (I love buying Cuban products as it annoys the US) a couple of years back when he was speaking here to drum up support for his War on Sanity.
It tasted awful, but then so did the speech.
As soon as I'd finished the thing I flipped George the bird and stalked off.
I do hope he saw me.

I haven't been into a Boots in a while, but I had a similar set of Tesco experiences.

I like your sense of humor here dive. Sounds a lot like the states. Get them all started young and get em hooked as a life long customer.

Nothing like a good cigar.

Maria - we still have the candy smokes over here which we usually hand out at tafe to anyone who doesn't smoke so that we get a longer break.

Dive, thanks. You're a sweetheart. I gave the drinking my best shot, but came up short on the Litre of Bavarian beer. It was too much. Another time, I think!
