What Sunday Afternoons Are For

Splendid day today: down in Suffolk with mum and her jazz mates; good real ale and this bunch of elderly reprobates (hi, guys) playing jazz at il Fascisti.

Here's Django's "Nuages." Enjoy …

I love it! How often do they play together? Great name, too. xoxoxo

Hi, Savannah!
These old guys get together on the last Sunday of each month at Mum's club for a relaxing afternoon of missed endings, fluffed notes and all that makes jazz so much fun.
You were much discussed today when you turned up on Mum's blog. She was delighted and sends her love. as of course do I, together with our very best wishes for your boys over in D.D.A.

Love the barrister--er, bass player.

I really enjoyed that, Dive. No wonder your Mum spends so much of her time at the club. The one man reminds me of a combination of reprobates Eric Clapton and Alan Rickman.

Oh, so nice! Definitely a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Hee hee, Petrea.

Reprobates play the best music, Speedway.

With the weather we've been having, Ms.M. taking refuge in good beer and jazz is the only sane choice.
