Kinda cool. Not as cool as skull and crossbones made of grass would be.

This sits in St.James's Park, right in front of the Parasite House. The Royal Family would never be so honest as to admit their parasitic piracy, Vanda. It would be well cool though.

I saw a program last night, narrated by ol' whazziz name, Chuck, which had clips from home movies showing, among other things, Chuck driving one of his little cars. It moved about the speed of a Roomba. It was beautiful, but he didn't seem to being enjoying himself much.

And about the hat. He said he had memories of his Mum practicing with it prior to her coronation. She wore it around the house, so to speak, and would come in to put him to bed, say good night wearing the 'hat.' Not that she'd have been wearing a $2 house dress or chenille bathrobe, but it seemed pretty funny - even to Chuck.

That family is strange beyond creepy.

I saw the same documentary last night! It was strangely fascinating to me since Charles is a year older than me. I have to admit, I never saw MY mother wearing a crown! *smirk* How different our lives were! (she said ever so sarcastically.) xoxoxo

I don't dislike them, nor do I feel sorry for them. They're in an odd position, not of their choosing (though I imagine if I were a member of the family I wouldn't have the nerve to choose to leave it). It's as though they're birdies we placed in a nest, and they look down from there and everything seems fine. They don't know what it looks like from down here.

Whether it be a hat or a crown, it is quite an amazing gardening feat! Kudos to the underpaid gardener on this, our "Labor day". Save our Unions in the US of A.

Royal topiary? I agree with Neetzy on the kudos to the underpaid gardeners. That "hat" must take a lot of maintenance.

I've always viewed the Royals as carefully a maintained zoo exhibit, an endangered species maintained by hangers-on who are just as creepy, if not worse, than their charges. I think those bureaucrats have a lot to lose themselves in what seems to be a den of manipulative, back-stabbing, well-dressed office clerks and valets.

It certainly is a feat of gardening.

As for the royals: monarchy is an institution that - like slavery and free market capitalism - belongs in the dustbin of history.
I'm sure they'd be very welcome in Lake Havasu City.

You would not have so much to moan about if it was not for the Royals!

I have enough things to moan about without the smegging parasite clan.
