A little research came up with Raven Wenlock and a few other Wenlocks, mascots of the 2012 Olympics. Are these movie or graphic novel characters? I love the variety of ravens in motion.
Vanda, it is indeed an alien crab in raven pyjamas, and anyone who is a royalist is definitely so damned weird.

Aha! We have a winner! Well done, Ms.M. This is (apparently) Wenlock; one of two Olympic mascots, the other being Mandeville. They're all over London, each painted in a theme to match their location. The Tower ravens are great fun, whereas Wenlock looks like he (she?) is either bowling or about to scracth his butt.
