I love the patterns, interplay of shapes. If the gherkin didn't have the spiral stripes, it'd be just another 41-story dildo. Do they have intricate designs they use to light it?
Another cool reflection! The building on the right is particularly fascinating with its curved shape, and the colors and patterns of the "squares". Are those glass or tile? Or some other material?
Speedway, it's usually blues and greens but on occasion it can be a veritable rainbow of flashy lighting effects..
Ms.M. that's the Gherkin (Norm will know all about it). It's polarised glass and when it's all lit up at night it's quite beautiful. I just like the way it gazes at its own reflection in the black mirror of the Tokyo Marine building.
I've never wandered in that part of the City before, sugar, just gazed at the skyline from the other side. I'll be more expansive in touring next time. xoxoxoxo
Central London is definitely a twin city thing, Savannah: the City in the east and Westminster in the west are as different as two places can be. xoxoxox

Very interesting angles. The building on the right seems curved. Is that so or is it an illusion?
