Speedway, it does look like a caged church; well spotted. Click on it to see all the seagulls roosting (and crapping) on the roof, however, and it looks more mundane.

Ooooh indeed, Petrea. This is the little church at the top of Tower Hill, looking down on the Tower of London. It's surrounded on three sides by huge glass office blocks so at least it can admire its reflection even if it can't see much more.
Thanks, Ms.M. I framed the shot by my usual scientific method of going "Oooh!" swinging around with my camera and doing a point-and click. I'm about as accurate as a drive-by pie-flinger.
London is full of ghosts, Savannah. Even wandering through the glass skyscrapers you come across tiny Dickensian courtyards; weird, dark spaces that seem to have been forgotten by everybody but oddballs like me. xoxoxox
