More Filler Crap

Yet another quick filler post as I am busy.

The Parasite House this morning, afloat on a sea of algæ blooming in St.James's Park lake.
The word "scum" seems peculiarly apt to my Marxist mind.

The view toward the other end of the lake with the Eye looming over the trees.

Beautifully-composed shots. After all these years I still have trouble tying up your alleged socialist leanings with the cynical man I know!

Cynical? Moi?

Nice filler crap. You should have just told us those were lily pads and not algae though. Humor us!

Great photos. Ahhh, the Royal Family.... it's always great to see the establishment residence which brings in millions of pounds each year in tourism....

Ouch! As you would say. lol x

Those are lily pads, Katie.
Hee hee.

Lynn: Ah; those unwelcome scions of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha.
I hate tourists, but if you're worried about money I'm sure we could maximise tourist income from the parasites by staging a huge gala State Execution of a few of them a year.
There are hundreds of the leeching Kraut bastards hidden around the place so we could keep it going for decades.
Sheesh! The TV rights alone would bring in ten times as much as the tourists do now.
Just a handful of "dukes" own the freehold to most of London. Think of all the good things we could do with those billions by a simple stroke of an axe.

Ah, regicide … sigh.

BAH HA HA! Well, I'm back and knew I would need to look around and see what you've been up to whilst I had my internet eyes and ears closed.
I see that you didn't get too ranty or melancholy last week so this is good news.

I wondered what everyone was up to as I peeled through layers of wallpaper in my moms bathroom looking for the wall I wanted to paint. (My "bargain shopping" class turned into a "redo someone you love's bathroom" workshop).
I hate to disappoint you Dive but Robyn was right about me liking that song. It was so deliciously angst filled and I do tend to love raw emotion hanging out there in all it's varied hues of intensity.

Now I will say that I don't make a habit out of listening to the word "****ing" in such saturation because naturally that is not what I want to shoot out of my mouth next time I ram my toe into the corner of the bed. But I do agree that is what made the song so extreme and so entertaining.
I wanted to post one of my favorite youtubes about shoes on my blog about them but then I remembered at the end the guy starts screaming "F-you!" over and over at the top of his lungs and that wouldn't fly with my audience. teehee.

Hope you had a productive day at the computer arsenal today! All of G.B's privileged student recipients must certainly appreciate your hard work. :D

I had once, a great great uncle who was hanged in Dublin for shooting a policeman.
Will I be hated or fêted as I regard the fetid waters of St. James's Park lake?
I hope it's not fated to end badly.
I'll be feorting if you think I'm just one of those sort of tourists, old son.

The photo with the "parasite house" is beautiful. From here it looks very English and classic, but in person I'm sure it does look like scum. I'll join Savannah in offering up or own leader for your touristy spectacle.

Woohoo! Shan's back!
I'm glad you liked the song, though I can't imagine you singing along to it or persuading Jamey to add it to his live repertoire.

Monsieur: We can have some fun standing in front of the parasite house and singing Aussie republican songs at it.

Robyn: I would LOVE to wield the axe at a Bushicide.
At least you (or the idiot half of your country) got to vote for him. I never voted for the parasites and it is illegal here to claim a reduction in tax of the percentage that goes to pay for them.
Bring on the guillotine!
Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité, and cutting the heads off those with unearned privilege.
What jolly fun we could have.

Nice photo. Ah, the eye looked familar. Yes, we had one too in Singapore. It was called The Singapore Flyer but I had yet to go on a ride. Have a nice day. Sorry for not visiting lately.

Beautiful photos Dive. Roicide; Regicide. You don't need to axe them. Just re-house them elsewhere; evict them from their comfort zones. I think the next generation is in for a shock and there might be a bit of a revolution but nothing will happen until Queenie goes. The old boy is looking a bit gaunt too these days.
As a future tourist, I promise to be well-behaved and polite.

Just popped in to say bye - am off to the great sunburnt land tomorrow for holidays. My Dad is 80 and my daughter 14 and I have a 25th wedding anniversary to attend as well - phew - I'm exhausted already.

Looking forward to some cold weather and some hot drinks - he! he! he!

Be a good boy while I am gone .....oh damn it just be your usual naughty self - that's why we luv ya!!!!

Scout, it really doesn't look like scum. I think even Dive will confirm that the building is lovely, it is the occupants to whom he refers!

Well Dive your plan of execution would certainly bring tourists i agree. I am willing to wager that the thirst for viewing public executions is still lurking latent within many, from the days of old. lol. However, it's no longer legal. Can you think of a legitimate way to replace the existing tourist revenue the Royals generate?
