This week it's more crap from some old Cheese Mechanics' gig.
Well, you seemed to like 'em last week so you can suffer for it this week.
Please excuse the couple of seconds of squealing feedback in the middle but it sounds like a drunk fell on the mixing desk (a not uncommon occurrence).

If you are feeling at all blue still, John Hiatt just released a new CD- Same Old Man. Not his best effort either but then again it John Hiatt so it's a must buy for sure.

Prudence, I have it on order, but even better, postie just brought me Ry Cooder's latest; the third in his California Suite after the glorious Chavez Ravine and the sublime (and very lefty) My name is Buddy.
This one comes with a novella attached and is wonderful. I love his stuff.
Oh, how fun! I love that everyone took a turn going a little nuts with the song. And it's great to hear such an enthusiastic audience reaction.
Does listening to this stuff bring back good memories, Dive?
Er … Not really, Robyn. I've been doing it since I was nine and it all kind of merges into one big mess. Most gig memories involve lugging heavy equipment, hours and hours and hours of tedious waiting around, trying not to drink, a brief period of intense fun on stage and then all the crap again and finally rolling home when decent people are getting up in the morning or waking in a tiny hotel room with no idea who, where or why I am.

Again this is the perfect music to help me get out of bed today! I don't have to be at work until 9 so I can lounge in bed, but now I'm sitting up and doing my best not to crank this great song (I'm too lazy to get up and get my earphones).
I agree with Savannah and Prudence about the photo. I think that the current trend of men wearing baggy pants is a crime.

Good luck for the exam. Perhaps you could record the viva voce bit for us although don't play it for M.B - he's still stuck in his WWII groove.
