You can blame Sassy for this one.She did Robyn's two, then did "What's Your Celtic Horoscope" …
Anyone who knows me knows that however gorgeous and seemingly intelligent a girl is, if she asks me what "star sign" I am, she'll never be bothered by me again (I can hear Sassy typing the question already) …
So I'm not going to do that one … alright, I did it … apparently I'm a Chestnut Tree …

I thought I'd do the "How American Are You" quiz instead.
And now I'm REALLY pissed off! Somebody tell me where the hell that seven percent came from ? Eh? I answered honestly; there should be a big fat zero up there …
Bah!

I don't want to know how American I am. It fills me with shame.
Nice legs, Dive.
Hee, hee and hee again.
Luckily my man-boobs aren't that big.
I took the American quiz but I haven't posted it because I've already posted four times today--going out of NaBloPoMo with a bang.
I'm 46%. Hmmm.
Yup, I think we can put this quiz frenzy down to end of term exuberance.
At least now if anyone asks me my "star sign", I can tell therm I'm a chestnut tree …
I think I'm a bit scared to take the American quiz now. I watch too much American tv than's good for anyone.
"I'm an Aries. Under 'our' sign we're supposed to be born leaders, focussed, intelligent, sharp...blah di blah di blah... oh you seem tired?"
I wonder what a full "American" would be--would that amount to someone who eats about 3000 calories too many a day, drives a huge truck with an extra two tires bringing four wheels to six, and listens to the country music channel? If so, us New Englanders should be the next group to separate from the country.
Hi, Lynn.
What are you doing over here when you should be writing another chapter for your avid fans?
(That goes for Robyn, too) …
Guys; if anyone hasn't yet checked out Lynn's and Robyn's nascent novels, you're missing something really special.
Two brilliantly written tales of a woman being put through the wringer (novelists are nasty like that); stylistically worlds apart yet both utterly compelling.
I'm addicted to them both.
Go read.
And welcome, ex.Pilgrim.
I agree. I think New England should come back over here with the Old.
Good luck with the career change by the way.
easy on, people, giving up on the country now would mean it belongs to the people who are fucking it up! less of that, now.
It would be unamerican to give up om America, so if you don't that would make you American, ah screw it.
My Celtic sign came out as Ivy, I'm clingy, hard to get rid off turn up everywhere and takeover and snails hide in me.
Give up on it, but remember to pull the plug out when you leave and let it sink.
Then come on home to the old countreee …
"Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your religious fundamentalist shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I've got a spare bedroom …"
Oh, and you are a Scorpio. I remember your birthday, because it is the same as my friend's.
No. I'm a horse chestnut. Æsculus hippocastanum.
"Hey baby. What's your star sign?" AAAARRRGGGH!
