Hello World. Hello Trees

Robyn's photo search today is of her living room window "Outside Looking In".
As my windows are in need of a good clean and nowhere near as nice as Robyn's, I thought I'd reply with "Inside Looking Out" …

This is today's rather chilly view from my studio window (the Pit Of Sadness from which I type this tripe).
Lovely leaves now starting to turn, but soon all will be bare and muddy.
Roll on spring …

Lovely view from the pit of sadness. It must take the edge off a bit?

Mea Culpa time again:
I bought a couple of artichokes this morning to make your party dish.
Only they looked so tempting I just ate one for lunch with some garlic butter.
Mmmm …

No problem. You are not required to make it.

As I posted to Robyn's reply, I wound up being asked to make a main dish, so I didn't make it either. My friend, however, got the recipe and made it to great acclaim. He was stunned that people would eat a dip made with mayo (as he ate lots of it himself).

OK, now I think I can comment. What a useful computer day. Anyway, I like this view. And I love watching the seasons go by, although in general the passing of time makes me sad.
