Oh, this is just too sweet for words.
Get on over to the Guardian's website for a good laugh.

And David Bowie!

Yep. Our own Dear Leader is really something.

After watching CNN last night and the discussion of various broken laws, it really does look bad.

I'm waiting for someone to do a report on the presidential scoundrels or at the minimum, blunders, in history. I need to put this all into historical perspective--it's not the end of the "great experiment," just a big bump. And the fact that there is vast discussion and debate and voting to make changes proves that this experiment really can work. You just have to ride it out.

I first noticed the presidential propensity to blunder when Nixon and Kissinger were bombing the crap out of Cambodia and lying bare-facedly about it to the world.
Cambodia; a non-belligerent country trashed by a couple of madmen, then left to Pol Pot …

It seems the Bush family were determined not to be outdone.
History is getting as bad as television. Nothing but bloody repeats …

Dive is right, so far as Southeast Asia is concerned. Latin America started far earlier than that.
