… it must be Mother's Day (at least in civilised countries). Smothering Sunday we call it.
This is not Mum, Phil and me, though I'm sure I have some trousers like that somewhere.
Happy Mother's Day, Mum! I'm now on my way over for lunch and to steal some of your sausage rolls (what are sons for if not to exploit your baking mercilessly)?
Yes, I know, I know … EVERY day is Mother's Day. Sheesh!

Happy Mothers Day, Mum!
For some reason, it didn't occur to me that your Mothers Day was so early. I think I will tell my "kids" what day it is in the land of the good old queen. Perhaps they will thoroughly clean the house.
Mum says "Thank you."
Katherine, Mothering Sunday over here migrates with Easter; the big card companies don't have the power here to override tradition to keep their ordering dates regular and good thing, too.
Good luck with the child labour project. Hee hee. Remind them that every day is Mother's Day and enjoy their groans and eye-rolling.
Best wishes you your Mum and I can't imaging the poor elephant Mum carrying a set of twins!
And the stretch marks! I bet she felt elephantine those last weeks, never mind not being able to scrub her own toes. Whew.
Yes, a happy Mother's Day to Alifan!
Lovely to see the mum and her babies. I once had some linen trousers that looked like that after they were washed. I dispensed with them quickly. :-)
Thanks, Neetzy. I think I just realised why elephants trumpet so loudly. Ouch.
Speedway, an elephant with stretch marks is going to look pretty much like any other elephant.
Thanks, Ms.M. "Fashionably wrinkly" is how they describe those in the shops here.
