Yay! Good Friday! A day to forget about getting up and going to work and instead to laze around in front of the fire, cursing the freezing weather and listening to Bach's St.John Passion.
I don't have a photo of a crucifix, so instead here's some spiky driftwood to commemorate two thousand years of religious persecution and bigotry.

Happy lazy day Son!
The sun is shining but it is bitter cold once again.
Think a morning of baking may be in order for me to keep warm…
I almost spit out my coffee laughing, thank you very much!
Do you have Friday's off or do you work from home on Fridays?
The saddest thing about today? There are only 2 shopping days before Cadbury mini chocolate eggs disappear from the shelves! xoxoxoxo
Mmm … baking.
I usually work Fridays, Katherine, but today is a bank holiday, soo woohoo!
Savannah, you just reminded me; I've not had a chocolate egg in decades. I may well venture forth and purchase one tomorrow.

Buy them Monday, Dive, they'll be cheaper.
Love the commercials for the Cadburry eggs, but they're too rich for me. I will get a few boxes of marshmallow Peeps, then open them to get a bit crunchy on the outside before I eat them.
I'll probably go without, Petrea. I'm still managing to lose weight (over forty pounds since I saw myself in that video last April and thought I'd swallowed a planet), so chocolate eggs are off the menu.
Crunchy marshmallow? That's an interesting concept, Speedway. I think I'll skip that one. Mercifully we don't have peeps over here.
This looks more like a Monday to me....
It's certainly spiky enough for one, Ms.M.
