| Your Christmas Sprit Level: 0% |
Your Christmas spirit is there, but it's very faint. If you celebrate Christmas at all, it's only when you truly want to. It's okay if you're not really into the whole Christmas thing. Don't worry about not having enough spirit. Pushing yourself to do more will only turn you into a Grinch! |
Even this one lies to me:
"Your Christmas spirit is there, but it's very faint."
Bollocks! I have NO Christmas spirit.
"Pushing yourself to do more will only turn you into a Grinch!"
The Grinch is a wuss. A sweet-natured, charitable, Christmas-loving soppy twat.
My only concession to Christmas this year will be to eat reindeer steak sometime over the holiday.
It's just another fucking day … except the TV is even crappier than usual.

So make christmas your own.
I hate the damn holiday, hallmark cards and children based consumerism.
My christmas card this year? Me dressed as mrs claus wearing only santas shirt and long black boots with a very scary riding crop and handcuffs.
Merry christmas indeed.
Ho, ho and ho again, young Kate.
Oh, you are so full of crap! You have Christmas spirit. I know you do. We just have to find it under that curmudgeonly exterior.
Kate, I think we all need to see that card.
SHHH!!!!!
Robyn, please don't let out my awful secret!
I thought you didn't watch TV Dive.
Kate -that sounds like some outfit I want to see pics please, please?
Dive, - TV ???
Are you trying to tell us that people watch TV in the daytime ?
Well, I suppose you are right. Our day, today is 14h. 30m. long and your is 7 hours. 50 minutes.
Here the sun is 78° elevation at solar noon and your is 15°.
I guess you win, mate. At least it will be a tepid 7 °C tomorrow. I hope the TV doesn't overheat !!
I don't watch it. I just pity the poor bastards who celebrate Christmas all sitting down, bloated and farty after stuffing themselves with fat and switching on their televisions expecting to see something worth watching.
Bugger that.
I thought we already knew that, dive. You put Scrooge himself to shame - pre-Christmas ghosts!
Please forgive me if my visit to you blog in the next couple of weeks will be slightly intermittent, as I am home in Manila spending some lovely time with my closest and dearest and basking in the sun. Your visits to my blog/s, however, are much appreciated!

Well now I was saving it to post on christmas day.......
I am determined to win our family gift exchange this year. It wasn't a competition until I called them last night (they were in the middle of a Bible study) to tell them my gift was going to kick all their gifts' asses.
They spend Tuesday night in a Bible study. I spend Tuesday night thinking of ways to shame them for the holidays.
I'm going to go bat shit crazy in the 72 hours I'm supposed to spend with those people.
Joy: Christmas is a time of great joy for me as I can be really grouchy. Hee hee.
Kate: At long last a reason to look forward to Christmas!
T: I cannot thank you enough. This comment restored my faith in humanity and made me laugh like a loon.
I scored 55% and am a jolly old kind sort, apparently.
Dive i reckon you give good presents, eat and enjoy christmas dinner and fall asleep on the sofa afterwards. I even reckon you watch the Queen's speech. LOL so there.
I think you'd like Christmas at my house. Bing cooks. This is a very smart move. I clean up afterwards. We spend a crappy time at breakfast with my sister, but the rest of the day is spent just kicking back and relaxing.
God, Kate...my cards have the word PEACE on the front and that is it. I suppose I could send out naked pics, but while I would love to shock my family, I'd hate to scare my friends.
You had better watch the Queen's speech, mate. Who knows, you could get a mention, you could even find yourself as the next Earl of Norfolk.
I think she secretly admires you and Phil the Greek secretly follows SGP. He wishes he could be more like you !
Lynn: Yes, I give good presents; no, I like to make something different; and I have watched and enjoyed two "Queen's speeches": one given by Sharon Osborne and one by Marge Simpson (thank goodness for Channel 4's alternative Queen's speech). Oh, I did catch her saying "annus horibilis" on the news one year and laughed my socks off.
Maria: Bing cooks, too? Could you please clone her and send me the copy?
Monsieur B: Okay, you've sussed me at last. I am in fact Princess Anne, blogging incognito.
LOL. Cranky pants! I love Christmas. I just don't love everything else I have to do that gets in the WAY of enjoying it. You know. Like mountains of laundry. And work. Well, you know about work. Probably not laundry.
Hee hee.
"Cranky pants!"
Thanks, Katherine. That sums me up pretty well.
As for laundry; I'm a demon with an iron but luckily I only have laundry for one.
