Gay Snowman

I'm busy today and I have a headache, so I've copped out of posting properly by dipping in to my big bag of old scans to find myself back in the early 1960s, building a suspiciously gay-looking snowman.

Nice boots and a cute butt … Where did it all go wrong?

Are you wearing half-mast trousers in the snow, Dive?

Maybe you've created a snowWOMAN there, with the fur stole.

We're a hardy breed, Robyn.

And it was definitely a snowman … it had snowballs (groan).

Great post dive. Isuspect it all went wrong somewhere in the seventies that's where it happened for me anyway. The decade of one constant party.

Hope the head feels better.

Thank you, Robyn. The old jokes still raise a giggle.

Rich: I suspect you're right. And my head's a lot better, thank you.

Lynn: Cute though, huh?

How cute. I have a very high internal thermostat and have been known to go start the car in the snow in my bare feet and bathrobe.

How positively Scandinavian, Prudence.
Do you have any ancestry from those frozen climes? We get a lot of Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish tourists here in the winter, strolling around in teeshirts in howling arctic gales.
Weird people.

You always look so earnest in those little boy pics. And yeah...where the FUCK are your trousers???

He/she is a lovely snow person. Just needs a feather and a garter belt and there you go.

Those WERE my trousers, Maria!
We were so poor we couldn't afford the bottom halves.

I think most snowmen are actually bi.

Aaahh how cute - and so are you!!!

Yes the British are all very gungho about frozen knees, frozen hands and .......shit, you don't even have a bloody jacket on!!
Were you left out on a hillside at birth to toughen you up - oh oops that was the Spartans i think.

T: I almost want it to snow now so I can go out and make a couple of erotic snow-people.
Maybe some S&M to frighten the kids.

Jules: Thank you, but the cute wore off soon after that.
I was born and "hardened off" in Malta (not that far from Sparta), so I'm hardened to sunshine rather than snow.
And this Brit hates the cold with a vengeance.
Brrr …

I'm not so sure that's a gay snowman :D He'd have more flair if he were!

Yep yep, arrived today in Manila. Very happy to be here. Mild weather, sun out and it's Christmasy everywhere! :D

Bare knees and no coat or sweater? That's it, that's where it went wrong. :)

No, 70's were still great it was at the end of the 80's that things began to go the wrong way.
