Understand completely, Dive. Been there, done that. It'a as though I tried to take a picture of the forest and a tree got in the way. Damn poles. Damn fence.
It was far worse in the days of steam cameras, Speedway, as well you know. Having a limited number of frames of expensive film meant that flagpoles and fence posts were costly. At least now we can take hundreds more shots to ensure that we can get a few usable ones.
Ah, those are the classics, Ms.M. That was always one of the joys of getting your pictures back from the developer: seeing what unexpected props had appeared where you hadn't noticed them.

I prefer adding alien bits to people; a sign shooting from someone's head, a tree branch sprouting from an ear.
