View from a bench in a teeny tiny little street-corner park on the Left Bank where I paused to devour an artisan demi-baguette stuffed with gourmet goodness. The window is above a marvellous bookshop.
Rue de Solférino is where the French Socialist Party hangs out so Blogville's token Marxist feels quite at home there.
Happy Wednesday!

Nice slice of Paris, with lovely ironwork, and knowing a marvelous bookstore is under that window. Browsing in a bookstore is a pleasant thought....
Happy Wednesday to you, too!
Looking at the window, wishing you were looking through it? And living above a bookstore? That sounds ideal!
Meant "inside, looking through it" not your being a dirty ol' man.
I love the reflection of the flag!
Mmmmm … Bookstores are like catnip for me, Ms.M. I have to be dragged away from them before my bank account empties.
Speedway, it would indeed be a fantastic place to live. A little noisier than I'm used to, with the traffic on St.Germain, but that's a small price to pay.
Neetzy, I tried to capture it several times but my crappy digital camera has a delay on it and by the time the thing took the photo the flag had snapped away from where I wanted it. This was the closest I got before I gave up.
