Saturday Statuary - Grand Palais, Paris

Hokay, so you're all out of Q-Tips, let's take some advice on aural hygiene from the French.
Step one: Squash a fat, large-headed baby with your mirror,
Step two: Ram a carrot in your ear.
Hey, this is the nation that gave us the bidet; what could possibly go wrong?

HA! I love your interpretation of this weird statue.

I think I caught it just at the right angle.

As Gertrude stuck the tampon in her ear, the baby she'd earlier thrown out with her bath water crept from under the sewer cover. Does that make sense? No. Neither does Gertrude.

Thank goodness. I trust the French in all things ear-related.

It looks like she's performing electrolysis on her ear hair--and is mighty pleased with the results. I'm not sure what to make of the contorted baby. Ah, French Surrealism.

Speedway, your mind is a strange and wonderful place.

Me too, Petrea.

Ms.M. now you've made me want to try electrolysis on my own ear hair. Darn this getting older business; hair seems to disappear from my head and reappear in the oddest places.

...And a clarinet duo played in the background.

Ah, I'm glad you told me what those are, Speedway; I had assumed they were twin exhausts from under her dress.
