I found this spiffy little hidden garden in the Marais. All things considered I'd rather be there this afternoon than mowing my front lawn and washing the car.
Hey ho …
Try Paris Illinois, right over the border from Indiana ...not. Or Paris, Kentucky home of a great many of the finest Thoroughbred breeding farms in the world. And there is, after all, a Paris, Indiana, located about an hour south of Indy where "vintage art" is the old guy eating doughnuts at the diner.
Gray here, but temp is 30 degrees cooler than yesterday. Relief!
What a lovely garden! Wonderful place to sit and read, or play acoustic guitar or kalimba, have a glass of favorite beverage while writing down a few thoughts.
Speedway, I always found it weird looking at maps of the USA. It bugs me when movies show a view of the Eiffel Tower and caption it "Paris, France" as if American audiences are too dumb to realise it's not Paris, Texas. "London, England" and "Venice, Italy" get me gnashing my teeth, too. Like anyone would confuse Venice with Venice Beach. Sheesh! Good to hear your icky weather is coming to an end.
Ms.M I totally agree, though my guitar playing might bug the neighbours.

I envy you, Dive. You're so close to France. You could just get on the train and hop over for a long weekend. I certainly would.
And you can walk out your door and be in sunny Southern California, Vanda.
Right now, staring out of my window at the rain I know where I'd rather be.
*sigh* Sometimes I wonder why i say in Savannah, sugar! Gorgeous spot! xoxoxox
You stay because it's fantastic there, Savannah. Having said that, if I could afford to live in Paris I'd be off like a shot. xoxoxox

Enjoy, Vanda.
There's also a Perris, California. I believe it's home to a military base.
Paris, France is prettier.
Hee hee. I think you may be right, Petrea.
