Saturday Statuary

A super-camp statue in the Luxembourg Gardens with the Pantheon (no, not that one, that's in Rome) in the background.

"The Actor," huh? Out of character (not wearing his mask), doesn't know his lines, and has an artful rendition of ocean waves crashing about his groin area. Sounds like a typical boy matinee idol. In fact, I'm surprised he could read. Wouldn't that have alarmed his sponsors?

Is there "L'Agent" lurking somewhere near?

I thought he was kinda cute.
I'm not sure if that's a loincloth or simply too much pubic hair.

For some reason, it reminds me of this:

Not necessary to watch the whole thing. Just thought I'd save you the trouble.

Hee hee hee. You're right, Petrea; it's him!

Haha! Petrea, that's great!

"The Actor" looks like he's in a musical. Perhaps he's received a love note, or an unusual grocery list, either of which will lead him to burst out in song at any moment....

An unusual grocery list. You crack me up!

Ms.M, you just made me snort (how embarrassing) at the idea of an unusual grocery list causing someone to burst into song.
Have you ever thought of writing an opera?

Petrea, me too.

Perhaps it could start with "Yes, we have no bananas". Then, enter Stage Left, Carmen Miranda, who sings a samba about banana alternatives as she dances "The Actor" to a magical produce stand....

Ms.M I SO want to see that!
