What the fuck is going on with this poxy weather?
Eh?
Where's the Spring I ordered?

I woke up this morning to more of this crap. Bollocks to snow!

Bollocks, bollocks, bollocks!

At least the Cathedral looked pretty.
Now stop messing me about and give me my Spring!
NOW!

Ahhh, isn't it lovely, Dive? ... he he
Grr!
We could sure use a crapload of that snow over here. Send it our way Dive.
uncanny. "Bollocks, bollocks, bollocks!" is exactly what I said this morning when met with a near identical scene as photo 2.
and then I fell arse over tit... and then tried to recover the contents of my handbag out from under the car.
You're more than welcome to it, Kate. I hate the smegging stuff.
Yikes, Sarah! I hope neither of those body parts was injured. It looks from your post today that Buckingham got it worse than we did.
Roll on spring.
Pop on over and have a look at what we are dealing with at the moment.
Yes, I blogged.
nasty stuff, sugar! roll on spring! xoxox
Holy crap, Kate! I didn't realise you were so close to the bush fires.
Those are awesome and scary photos.
Stay safe!
Roll on spring up here and autumn down in the Aussie part of Blogville, Savannah.
xoxox
You were in the city! Why?
Ah yes. I looked out the window and saw the white sheet in my neighbour's backyard. But you know, spring has sprung! But that doesn't mean the weather isn't gonna be messed up. C'mon. How long have you been living in this country??? We'll have spring and winter both in one day :D
I was dashing stuff in to the planning department, Joy.
Yup. Our weather sucks.
Hang in there Dive. You will have Spring before I do. I have to wait another month and a half. Pour yourself a brandy.
You have spring in Minnesota, Mark? I thought your winters carried on right through. Here's to warmer weather.
Were you actually expecting to get a heat wave in February? I agree that the cathedral really is beautiful with the light dusting of snow.
I always expect a heatwave in February, Katie.
That might go some way to explaining why Old Dive gets so grumpy at this time of year.
Was up half the night due to crap weather. High winds smacked the shutter next to my bedroom window against the brick building. That went on until 2 am when it finally flew off its hinges and hit a tree.
Today, the moronic maintenance man will nearly kill himself climbing up to reattach the damn thing with chewing gum and spit.
Tonight, the smacking will resume.
Fucking wind.
Robyn tells me you've been hit really hard with a total shitstorm, T.
Hokay, so maybe they were not her exact words but it sounds really awful. 90mph winds and all sorts of crap weather.
Stay safe. Get out there and hide the shutter so the maintenance man can't find it and put it back.
He He
Now where is the Dive"the hardy northern folk"with short trousers
in the snow who ran around and did
sport stuff to get warm? Didn't you writte "It was nice and healthy",did you?
For every time, there is a season. At least it isn't charred and scorched earth and smoke laden air. Instead you have crisp, clean air (at least in Norwich) even though it is cold.
Buy some rubber soled shoes dear and you will be fine.
Don't let your eye for beauty get frostbitten, Dive. After all, that's a darn perdy view of the cathedral ya got there, don't ya think? ... But, yes, let's hope Spring springs into action soon.
We had record high temps here yesterday. I think the high was 63degrees(F). The winds picked up last night and we had gusts at 50-60 mph. We might have snow by Saturday. #@*!!February!!
The good news. I see the light of dawn on my way to work. Hang in there Dive. Spring is coming.
Yes Dive, eventually we will have a glorious Spring here in the "Land of 10000 Lakes & 10000 Taxes. It usually happens really fast. Maybe a late April snowstorm followed by a temp in the 60's. The official start of Spring is when the first golf course opens for business. Im swinging my "mashie" as we speak. Soon Im going to reach for the driver, also known as the Big Stick.
Anyone want to see my niblick?
Just popped over again to see the jolly and gorgeous pics of the snow Dive....;) thanks!
Yeah, no pity. Poor England has a few flakes. NEW England was covered in death flakes until this week (it has been lovely).
Again? Twice in the same decade?
Anonymous: hardy northern folk grow up into grumpy old fuckers who have seven hour a day commutes and snow makes a miserable life even grimmer.
Hey ho.
Rubber soled shoes, Mme? That sounds kinda kinky.
Lucio: Yup, I have to make the best of it and the Cathedral is tasty eye-candy in any weather.
Neetzy: It can't come soon enough for me. I need May and I need it NOW!
Mark: I'm sure the ladies would LOVE to see your niblick! Or indeed to lick your nib … er.
Lynn: If I could reach Tewkesbury with a snowball you'd be needing to duck right about now.
Sassy: Yes, I know you have real snow but I hate the smegging stuff.
Kate: Truly appallingly inconsiderate weather. Once in a lifetime is enough.
Sorry Dive, really I was ashamed after writting that stupid comment yeasterday. Please, excuse me.
There is another comment from me in the previous post(11st)
Anonymous: you have absolutely nothing to be ashamed about. I love all your comments.
You rule!
After hitting 60 degrees earlier this week, we had a snow storm yesterday. I was mad as a wet hen.
I love that phrase, Maria. Wet hens are kind of kinky as well as mad.
Hi Darlin' - bloody hell what's all that white stuff??? Looks like the inside of the freezer. You must leave those wrteched shores and visit me here in the land of warm sandy beaches..... and delayed planes. Am stuck in Port Moresby tonight - off to Goroka tomorrow - hopefully!!!

Hi, Jules!
I miss you, too. I so wish I could come and join you for a drink and a sunset over the bay. Sigh … The weather here is just too depressing.
