Let's Make A Racket - XXXIV

Yesterday: kittens; today: dogs.
Sheesh! Now my blog's covered in hair.

This is the same line-up as one of my all time favourite Blues Club Rackets, from earlier in that gig; a song about a dawg and its stupid owner.

Thanks for the music Dive, I'm enjoying it tremendously (although I had to stop listening to it to leave a comment here, something I find bloody annoying but I've told you that before haven't I, and got my answer back LOL)

Nice ranting you served us yesterday, supported by cute photos. Oh you really make me laugh you know!

Hee hee, Nathalie: it is part of a curmudgeon's work to be annoying and obstructive. I'm studying for my doctorate in Cantankery so things are likely to get worse rather than better.

Can't see any dogs I'm afraid, neither can I listen to the song right now, but I'll be back!

The dog is in the song, Lynn.
You're not missing much; I'm feeling pretty uninspired today.

A great song for Thursday! Thanks. It's dark and chilly here with wind howling through the chimney, so a song like that will help lighten things up a little.

I live my life covered in hair, and it's not because of hormones.....

annoying and obstructive?

a doctorate in cantankery?

why do i find these statements so hard to believe, sugar? why do i always think of you as a kind, generous, wildly intelligent, articulate & accomplished sweet soul? xoxoxoxo

(you really are too delish, darlin!)

Brr … Robyn. That sounds like sucky weather.
We are due for some ourselves at the weekend.
Or at least the weather people say it will snow all down the east side of the country (which is me) and Lynn will have sunshine, dammit!
Hee hee.

Katherine: Thank you for making me laugh out loud!
Don't deny your lycanthropy, celebrate it!
Having lots of pets is a great way to cover the werewolf hairs. Don't worry; your secret is safe with me.

Savannah: Whatever drugs you've been indulging in to think those thoughts, I'd appreciate it if you'd share them around.
xoxoxoxo

Nothing like a great Racket to get me out of bed on a Thursday! (If I could get it to play on my Touch I'd never get out of bed.) Another delightful tune that has me revved up for the day! I'll have to crank it again once I get to work, as I'll be so depressed to face my stacks of work that I'll need something to revive me. That and some seriously strong coffee.

Mum: bugger winter.

Katie: MMMMMMMM Seriously strong coffee is our friend.
Like alcohol.
And huge amounts of fatty food. Thanksgiving's heading your way really fast so make sure you grab hold and enjoy every minute.

A good tune to dance to! Glad it's about my favourite people in the world.

Ah, doggies!
For a moment there, thinking about the lyrics I thought you meant ignorant cheating couples screwing around behind one another's backs.

You may be feeling pretty uninspired today, old son but the inspiration you share with us is always gleefully relished.
Your blues rackets are a joy to blast out across the fields of Aldgate at the midnight hour and anytime.

I am seriously considering removing the von Trapp family song-list from iTunes, but only with your kind permission.

Please forgive me if you can, for my woeful absence lately. I had an ISP problem and I need to kill someone !!

And, please enjoy getting worse, - or better. Everything from SGP gives me the balance I don't deserve and the dog in the song I can't see. Woof.

Keep warm my good friend, cantankery may be cool but heat is a good antidote.

Better your blog than your clothes. All the cats are moulting (how do you spell that?) and there's fur all over the place. Half my day is spent with a clothes brush in hand.

Oh and the music was fantastic! I have to rush but what I heard was "groovy". :) Ditto Nathalie about leaving it but then again, what a wonderful incentive to listen all the way through.

Welcome back, Mme et Monsieur. I am so glad your interweb is working again; I missed you both terribly.
