More Filler Photos

As I'm busy today - okay, I'm too lazy to think of anything to post - let's finish off the snow photos from Saturday morning.

The wind had blown almost all the snow off the Castle mound.
Pretty soon that's going to be just a mass of daffodils.

This is the same thing I photographed for a post last week, but considerably chillier.

This pretty old house has always been known as "THE HERMITAGL" as the top part of the last "E" got knocked off the sign and they never got round to replacing it.
It's one of the few thatched houses left in the city.

Tis pretty indeed, the Hermitagl. Let it be known always like that. I prefer it!

I think the owners do too, Lynn, as the sign has been like that for thirty years at least.

They're just being lazy, like someone we know hehe.

I wonder if it'll snow some more so I can take more photos.

And yeah, the only thing good about County Hall is being inside it looking out. :)

Been meaning to ask, how did you find my website? Are you constantly in search of Norwich sites?

It's all Lynn's fault, Joy.
She turned up on my blog a loooong while back in a bizarre way and then introduced me to the "Daily Photo" folk.
I have my favourites who I keep in my sidebar but every now and then I trawl through the DPs to see if there are any more I fancy and suddenly there was Norwich Daily Photo!
Being a curious kind of cove, I clicked on it and have been hooked ever since.
And now your radio show has become a Sunday breakfast-time staple too, even though I only understood a few words of last weekend's. Hee hee.

I still amazed that you have a castle. We've got nothin'.

You will show us the mound covered with daffodils, right?

Gee, thanks Lynn! If not for you, Dive and I would never (?) have crossed paths :D

Glad you found me because I for one look forward to reading your blog! I wish I could be as 'irreverent' as you on my blogs but people seem to think I'm supposed to be squeaky clean :D

So how's your Monday so far? Is the sun out where you are?

I'd rather be talking to you instead of going over these funding bids. Argh. But if I don't, there goes my job!

Robyn: Come on over and see it for yourself.
We can roll down the mound then.
Fun!
Wheeeeeee!

Joy: You should be as irreverent as you want!
Yes, it's lovely and sunny here in Olde London Town.
And I would much rather be talking to you than doing plumbing details for communal toilets, but it comes with the territory I'm afraid.
Hey ho. Good luck with the funding bids.

Not sure who was the irreverant one meant there; me or Dive. Anyhoo, as the man would say, it matters not. It's a pleasure, Joy. Daily Photo is a great organisation, meaning you get to take trips around the world without leaving your seat. As Dive did. Yay!
Robyn: He's just showing off.

Roll down the mound??? Is it just I who thinks that there's something inappropriate about that? Hehe.

Lynn, indeed it is. I am truly pleased that I discovered Daily Photo. I love discovering new places through the photos AND meeting wonderful people. Although I must say, there is one particular site I kept visiting because the photos were really superb, but I never got a reply or a visit from them. I don't understand how some people don't have the courtesy to at least reply.

The irreverent one was Dive, of course :D Are you saying Lynn that you are, too? Hehe.

Innocent, childish fun, ladies!
Have you never been tempted to roll down a slope before?
Hee hee.

Joy: Our Lynn is far more risqué and frisky than Old Dive.

How do you know that, Dive?

Dive, I believe you have walked into a trap. You should just bow and excuse yourself. hee hee Rolling down the mound indeed.

Joy: Check back through Lynn's different blog archives and you'll find stuff to make your eyes pop out of your head!

Robyn: Get on a plane, come over here and have a roll (!) …
You know you want to.
Hee hee hee.
