It appears to be a book list written by an American in that there are very few Classics and a whole bunch of stuff I wouldn't be seen dead reading.
But I'll fill it in anyway because I am grouchy and have a headache and am in the mood to get annoyed with Americans.

I would write out a proper list but like I say, I'm grouchy and I really can't be arsed.

You're right - not a very impressive list. I do have a bone to pick with lists like this one. They tend to include books written mainly by dead white Caucasian males!

Acupuncture is fun.
This morning's headache was caused by lack of alcohol mixed with staying in bed until six this morning because I didn't have to take the 5:40 train. If I lie-in I get an all day grouchy bastard headache.
You couldn't finish 1984! How could you stand not to finish it? I mean, I can see War and Peace...that one has so many characters that it is like juggling...
Don't drink much water or the headaches feel worse. Believe it or not, orange juice helps. It is all that cheery vitamin C...the problem is that you have to get past that fucking LOUD color first...
Of course I finished 1984, Maria. I've read it many times.
You had me worried there for a minute. I had to go back and check what I had posted.
And I cured the headache with scotch.
No worries. You are a grouch - I guess because you like to be that way :) But this is really not my day with lists. Simply no patience. I did however, buy the latest Salman Rushdie book as he will be in Budapest next week and hope to get it autographed.

Dive - have been sick all week coughing and now no voice. We have been on generator for 2 days because there is no power (winds and storms see tomorrow's blog) We had no water last week, no phones the week before and now no power - and you have the hide to say you're grouchy!!!!
I would be finishing my book "Love in the Time of Cholera" if I could see it in the dark!!!!
Watched "Venus" last night - loved it - have you seen it??

Hey Jules. Sounds like you not only need a handpump on your standpipe, but a wind generator, too.
I've not seen Venus yeu, but I'll catch up with it soon. I like watching Peter O'Toole ham it up.
