Hey! It's trying to snow!
It's actually a pretty pathetic attempt but at least it's having a go.
This is the little road that leads to Dive's house.
And this is the crappy road in to Norwich.
Norwich itself is slush central.I had a yummy breakfast of toasted fruit bread, oozing and dripping with melted butter, washed down with a latte, in the delightful company of Joy and Thom, who are happy with our crappy weather as they will soon be jetting off to spend Christmas in the Philippines.
It's a hectic weekend; I'm about to head back in to the city for lunch with Mike.
So with all the housework to do as well I don't have time to write a post.

It has been 20 degrees f. here in Virginia, USA. I hiked yesterday but was so robed up, it felt like a cellophane wrap.

It was snowing while I was presenting my snow and all I wanted to do was run out and take photos.
After the radio show, I made Thom and me banana and nutella crepes! We ate them in front of the fire. Want some?

I'm with M.Benaut -- what the heck is snow?? I've removed that word from my lexicon since leaving Minnesota. Your snow looks kinda quaint though. Well, the slushy part is annoying. You have to be properly shod for that. But lunch with Mike looks quite yummy! I'm not sure what he has speared on his chopsticks though.

Yes, Mike is yummy, as was the seafood ramen. Hee hee.
Mike is brandishing some kind of ladle thingie that they provide for you.
I ate mine with chopsticks, but - this being Norwich - was one of only two people in the entire place who seemed to be able to use them.
Norwich is still battling with the concept of the fork so chopsticks are a little too advanced.
Joy told me a lovely story of eating in Shiki one time and a table of English guys came in. They were too dumb to realise that you had to split the wooden chopsticks so they just speared the food with the things still stuck together.
It truly is "Deliverance" country out here.
Except for the snow, which sucks.

It's snowing here too! Semi-conductor came out to see daughter D in concert. We had to battle through squalls of snow. What fun!
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. That lunch looks really good. What did Mike order? Is that a bottle of ale in front of him? Im making risotto tonight. Im also grill smoking a filet of salmon on a cedar plank. I hope it does your risotto recipe justice. The dry wild mushrooms are steeping as I speak. Im off to the wine cellar to find a worthy bottle of red wine. Thanks again for the recipe Dive.

I was drinking water and Mikey had Asahi (Japanese lager).
We also had snow on Friday. Lake effect squalls from Lakes Erie and Ontario. We had a severe dusting nothing more. Dad, the semi-conductor had to drive through it.
