Still feeling like crap this morning, though mercifully not as bad as yesterday.

Inevitably I took the advice of my delightful and very personal secretary, 外人ガールちゃん, who has mysteriously reappeared after a six-month alien abduction like the vision of an angel bearing a bottle of Talisker.
So whilst I am still feeling like a family of bears is using the inside of my head for a latrine I am somewhat more cheerful.
Tomorrow I shall be taking a day's holiday from Blogville as Phil's coming down to London with me to loiter in museums and galleries and to lurk in drum shops where he can grunt and bottom-sniff with fellow percussionists.
So - in the continued absence of my brain, here are a few more pretty things to look at, taken last Saturday breakfast time.

It will give you some idea of why I love living where I live.

Phil drew this building decades ago, back when he used to sell his arty stuff. You'll have to pop over to his blog and yell at him to scan some of his stuff in and post it.It's part of the cathedral school. You can see their Hogwarts-style school hall behind.

Next time i'm visiting the parents i really must take more of a look around Norwich. All visits have been at mine so i haven't got there yet this year.
Glad you're feeling a tad better. You and Phil will have a grand time i'm sure. I'm amazed; as far as i'm aware he's still 'away for a week' at the rugby match many eons ago. I've given up asking him to post anything....sigh...!
Dr. Who at Hogwarts, eh? That should be fun. I can just picture Alan Rickman striding into the Tardis and sneering at David Tennant "Of course, I preferred Jon Pertwee."

"bendy buildings." I do like the lean to the buildings there. Here, when that happens, we knock the thing down. Just one reason we have no sense of history.

These pictures are partly why DH and I feel a little displaced. We love this look so much and drool over the one house in town that looks Old English. It's such a shame I'm a self proclaimed non-traveler. Someday when I'm VERY brave I will cross the ocean and take my kids on an adventure. Until then I shall travel via miniMac! :)

Once again, I am ashamed to admit that I do not get Dr. Who. I watched about ten minutes of it a couple nights ago and finally asked Bing if she liked it. She admitted that no, she didn't really.

Maria: I'm with you. I don't watch it. But then again I don't watch anything these days. The last watchable TV programme was Green Wing a couple of years ago; I've seen no reason to switch the thing on since then except to watch old movies.
