Last week's sticky-bud (here, if you don't recall it), has become this week's sexed up exhibitionist.
Your visual treat for the day: a horse chestnut with a boner. I love horse chestnuts. They have beautiful flowers, amusingly hand-like leaves and they give us conkers (yay). Plus, of course, any excuse to say "æsculus hippocastanum" out loud is to be treasured. Try to slip it into a phone conversation.

Very good photo, cannot say the word ha ha…
*snickering*
You seem to have that effect on me, sugar! Post things like this and I'm giggling like a schoolgirl!

Well, from last week's moist promise to downright colorfully erotic. Whew! What a gorgeous bit of a tree.
The word "haha?"
Savannah, there's nothing like a good bit of smutty innuendo to bring a smile to the face.

Ah, moist promise … I've not encountered that in a millennium, Speedway. It sure is an excited tree.
All a quiver with anticipation, awaiting the light touch of pollen's delights and all the moist raptures of Spring's promise.
AKA: A runny nose.
Ah, thanks for the reminder, Speedway. Spring brings warmth (though not yet) and beauty but also hay fever and lawnmowing and weeding and all those chores we've been avoiding all winter.
Hey ho. Every silver lining has a cloud stuck to it.
Well, it's a horse chestnut. Of course, it has a boner. Haven't you ever heard the phrase "hung like a horse chestnut?"
Those horse chestnuts sure know how to shout it out :-)
Here's to Spring and to many baby horse chestnuts in the future!
Hahahahahaha.
Thank you, Vanda. You always say just the right thing.
Here's to spring indeed, Ms.M. We're due another cold snap at the weekend, so more frosts to kill off all the new shoots, dammit.
