Petrea asked if the teeny tiny amphitheatre from the previous post is actually inside the moat and if the Castle is still there.
Here you go. I hope this answers your questions. The brick platform is the theatre stage and the Castle is the big castley thing way up on top of the bailey.
I'll post some more Castle pics tomorrow.

This looks like a delightful theater! Are concerts as well as theater performed at the amphitheater? (of course some concerts ARE theater).
We'll be seeing Two Gentlemen of Verona next week at the outdoor theater here. It's a lovely theater, but not as charming as this one.
Petrea, next time I'm up there I'll cuff it to the railings.
Ms.M, this leetle theatre only stages plays. There are plenty more places for live music around the place.
