Lucio: Most things are more fun after the first joint. To the left of this box there was a box of 'Racing Grannies' with Zimmer frames. I have the feeling whoever dreamed up these things had been smoking rather a lot.
Ah, thank you, Robyn. Over here, those are 'dummies' but no, I've not bought one as far as I can remember.
Racing live babies is nowhere near as much fun as putting them in a cage and getting them to fight. I believe both sports are going to be included in the 2012 Olympics.
We call them "dummies" but when my brother was little, his nickname for his was "dodo" (as in extinct bird). These little racing babies are the most hideous things I've seen for a while and I'm very glad that you didn't buy them. A blue cat is much more your style :)
Yes we call them dummies; like Dive, I didn't know what a binkie was. I never gave my children dummies; I don't like them. That's a whole other conversation, one which I'm sure would not interest Dive. lol.
Cali: To my eternal regret I appear to be made of horrid, flabby, squishy stuff.
Petrea: I have the feeling that the anticipation may well exceed the actual event.
Katherine: I'm sure I don't know what you mean! Hee hee.
Katie: From the above comments I would guess the target market is Cali.
Mme: Please don't encourage the blue cat to come back; I'm not sure I could stand all the swearing.
Lupine Lady: "Baby shower" was a new term to me until I had it explained by Colonials. I thought it sounded vaguely unsettling and involved small bathroom equipment but it seems I was mistaken.
Lynn: Because the world is going to Hell in a handcart; that's why. And yes, please do leave me out of the breastfeeding debate; the breasts are fine; it's just the babies I can't abide.
lol it's not really about breastfeeding so much, Dive, which of course I support, pardon the pun, to the ends of the earth by the way. People use these things to pacify/keep quiet babies at any time of day as far as I can work out.
My family will soon be thanking you for my new phrase "Ready, steady, GOO GOO!" which will no doubt be a welcome replacement from my usual leaving words "LET'S SCOOT A BOOT!!" which have become quite tired. ;)
Let's scoot a boot? Hee hee. I like that one, Shan.
I'm glad I can't read emoticons (or whatever they're called). I have no idea what <3 means, but it looks to me like a halter-neck bra on its side. Yay boobies!
Ah, Shan, you are but a child, young lady. But beware; when eventually you DO get as old as me, things tend to get very sloppy indeed. I so wish I'd spent the last thirty years at a gym. Hey ho.
You are kind, but a raging case of the diabetes is aging me in dog years. That is why I'm old and deteriorating. C'est la vie.
P.S. My dad asked me if I had lost weight when he saw me a couple weeks ago-said my face looked thin. I pointed to the new jowls and said "Nope, it's just here now." We had a good laugh.
Hee hee, Shan! You've got a real long way to go before your jowls look like mine (I can do a scary Nixon impression if I pout just right). Bummer about the diabetes, but take heart from all the comments on your last post. Every one was true. Or of course just ask Jamey. He's the man who knows.

Why, oh why do they have to include binkies??
They feel the need for speed? Are they little addicts? Maybe that's why they have binkies...
A lot more fun after the first joint, I imagine.
Lupine Lady and Ms.M:
Hokay; so what's 'binkie?'

Racing babies. ... Racing grannies. ... Racing babies. ... Racing grannies. ... Boy, tough choice! I may just have to take one of each.
That sounds more disturbing than it probably should, Lucio.
A fecund mind can be a dangerous thing when such novelties swirl within its depths.
A binkie is a pacifier, or as one of my babies used to say, "poy."
Please tell me you bought these!
I heard a story on the news the other day about people who race live babies, and some people think it's wrong.
Ah, thank you, Robyn.

No, I didn't mean did you buy a pacifier? I hoped you bought the racing babies.
I know; I was just being my usual facetious self.
But no, I didn't buy those either.
You didn't buy Racing Babies or Grannies? You are made of stronger stuff than I! :D
Scout: "some people think it's wrong." AAAAhh!
Dive, the racing babies scream for a video. Actually, they cry "waah!" for a video.
Cute, but those winding mechanisms are in the WRONG place!
I'm still wondering who the target market is for these things!

Hmmmm. Maybe they're for baby shower games of some sort.
Why, why, why? Racing babies; why.

Anything that keeps babies quiet on my train is more than welcome, Lynn. A large rubber mallet would be good, or maybe a stun gun.
Mmmm … breasts …
er, sorry.

I <3 babies. Real ones mostly.

That's ok. I can't DO emoticons. That is a sideways heart but your right about what it looks like. Ah yes, I tried that once too. :)
Sorry about the "your". I'm sloppy in my old age.
