Up Yours, Winter

I wake this morning to the sounds of desperate arborial grunting and squelching and giggling.
The plum trees outside my bedroom window are at it like rabbits.
Stamens and anthers all over the place. I quickly close the window to avoid being hit by flying pollen.
I do believe spring is in the air.

Bugger!
Another year of watching everything else in the world have sex but getting none myself …

Roll on next winter …

Crap, Dive,
Roll on Springtime, when little gurls' minds turn to LERRRRRVE.
Put a spring in your thing, old son !!
Aren't there any little cuties on the morning and evening transcontinental thing? And in Pommie land it's gets dark about lunch time, mate. How good is that?

Yay, that's just lovely. Today, while trying to take photos of the first spring blossoms (and you know the orgasmic state people get into here about a goddamn flower), I had to battle more than stamens and anthers. Oh yes, the struggle for the best postition among many, many photographers. I ended up taking pics of the masses, rather than the flowers.
If I were you, I would be enjoying the peace and quiet.

"desperate arborial grunting and squelching and giggling." This is just plain poetic. I love when you talk like this...

yes I know, you love it when I love it.

Thanks MB. I'm kinda resigned to a celibate life now. And much as I love the springtime, I tend to start flinching away from the daylight like Gollum and hiding in dark corners. It takes me a while to get into the spring thing …

And GG: I am so jealous. Cherry blossom watching in Tokyo. Lucky you (even with the millions of tiny people getting under your feet).
I eagerly await your photos.

Hee hee, Robyn. I do indeed love it when you love it.
I also love it when you talk dirty like that! Poetic indeed. Hee hee

Hey Boss: a flower is a flower is a flower. I'm trying to sort the photos now but have been out all day (er, and night) and am now pissed. Photos to appear... sometime.
I can't see your photo - is it my browser or the vino?

Hee hee …
I hope it's just the vino, GG as the photo is definitely still here.
Enjoy your hangover.

Me too. I can't see it either Monsieur D.

All right, I'll confess I can't see it either, I was just pretending. It's a little X, so maybe the file is too large for my browser.

Yikes! I'll make it a bit smaller and reload it.

Ah, that's it. Thanks, pretty photo. It turned out so much better than mine from today - I've just ditched most of them :/

dive said...

Doh!
And after you drank so much to take them, too.
More drink is called for, I think.
Kampai, GG.

Ach, it's late. It's good night from me, and it's good night from her.
Kampai, boss.

Waaaaaaa. We're supposed to get snow tonight. It's fucking spring, and we're getting the white stuff. No white stuff at Christmas, but we're getting it now. Bugger.

Hee hee. That's more like the Sassy we know and love.
