Really, WTF? If the explosive device turned out to be a dud, someone would actually PICK IT UP to return to its shelf? And keep all their fingers? And if it did go off in the orange box, wouldn't the extinguisher to put out the fire be in exactly the wrong place? Oh, and shall one turn in the defect ticket along with the defective device AND their suddenly defective digits?

Ms.M. Doctor Strangelove is a beacon of sanity compared to modern bureaucracy. Having said that, it's still my favourite movie of all time and the best depiction of humans being human beings ever made.
