This one's from my temporary job as Cathedral Tour Guide during last Friday's team building day.
What's the interweb for if not for posting photos of … er … mighty organs?
The bass pipes up on the balcony sound awesome; they reach right into your intestines and rearrange your breakfast.

What a gorgeous shot! And I know exactly what you mean by "they reach right into your intestines and rearrange your breakfast." Sound can actually do that.
Spoken like a true musician, Robyn.
This organ regularly hosts Bach festivals along with More modern stuff (among others Arvo Pärt likes to premier his choral works here) and I can attest to the breakfast-rearranging properties of those bass pipes.
Oh the sound is so good in the Cathedral, good photo… can hear them in my memory!
The photo is gorgeous, Dive, and I can only imagine what those glorious pipes must sound like as they reverberate through the Cathedral.
Around here, the only bass I will hear/feel is from some automobile with a sound system playing so loud that the car vibrates, the ground vibrates so that I can feel it up through my feet - to my
tummy.
Excellent photo! An organ like that can sound so magnificent. It's amazing to feel the bass tones vibrate. (I think it rearranges my head, too.)
The sound is simply awesome in there, as well you know, Mum. Though I didn't comply with the London staff's request to sing for them so they could hear the echo. Ha!
Thanks, Speedway. You'll have to come visit and hear the thing for yourself.
A pox on car stereos, especially late at night. Grr …
Thank you, Ms.M. You're so right; it does the same thing to my head. Trippy!
