Oh, for goodness sake!
Mum, next time we're shopping in Norwich remind me to pick you up a copy of The Oxford Dictionary of Unfortunate Euphemisms.
After telling me last week that you were writing for a jazz mag (euphemism for top-shelf porn mags) now you compliment me on my stiffy; something nobody but Œdipus would want to hear from his mum.

How you talk to your mother!!

I want a junk room like this, though.

Hee hee. She's used to it, Robyn.

It's a pretty cool junk room, isn't it? The door is amazing! Hanging on the wall is the mediæval sign from The Sun pub; I have no idea what the Mandarin figure is all about, but I LOVE that wacky wheelchair thing at the front.
This is one of the store rooms in the crypts under Strangers' Hall, where all the stuff from Norwich's history that is not on display upstairs gathers dust.

Mediæval people had junk rooms? I'm so pleased.

I suppose even mediæval people had junk, Petrea.

I'm hearing the Twilight Zone music for some reason...

An interesting assortment of stuff! The Mandarin figure is rather spooky; I wonder if it "awakens" at a certain time of night or if a certain phrase is said....

Neetzy, I think Ms.M is on the same wavelength.

Ms.M, I'm going to have to go back down there with a Mandarin dictionary and find out.
