Bwang … Thwack

Over to Mikey's house this lunchtime for some Legolas action in the garden and some frenzied online slaughtering on his Playstation 3.

Pimp my bow.
Metallic paintjob, high-tech counterbalance, everything bar laser sights.

Those cheese-eating surrender-monkeys better stay their own side of the channel.
We trashed 'em at Agincourt and by the look of things, we're ready to do it again.

Thwak!
Eat steel-tipped aluminium, Frenchie!

Hey ho. Boys and toys … Great, innit?

Scary. I see two coffee cups on the table there. Does that mean Dive put a few arrows in the target, too? Why is there no picture of that spectacle?

Yeah...I want to see one of you spinning one out!

I was at a friend's house once and had never shot with a bow and arrow. He helped me get in position and then jokingly told me to try to not kill anyone, just to aim for that little red circle on the tree.

I got a bulls eye. He was astonished and so was I. I told him I guess that proved that he had better watch his mouth with me....since I was still holding the bow and arrow....

I'm great at sitting on the patio drinking coffee but I wouldn't even be able to pull back the string on that bow, let alone hit anything in front of me.

Maria: Hee hee hee!

I'll warn those Frenchies tomorrow when I get there.

Yes, looks fun. I've tried it before and wasn't good at it.
I've been spending a couple of hours setting up an online shop at my blog. he he. So far i have three products. Have a look when you get a min. I'm not the best techie as you know, so i'm learning my way round the site and it's even got templates. I wouldn't have a clue otherwise. LOL. Seems fun anyway.

Good luck with the flight, Phil. With the 80mph southerlies we're due this morning it could take you hours to hop across the channel!

Lynn: I love shopping (my gay gene again) so I'll head on over.

Would love to try that! But you better make sure you're somewhere safe from straying arrows :D

I once set up a target in my backyard. I made sure the shed was behind it, so that I didn't accidentally snag any of the Plymoth Brethren snotters in the church next door (what the hell was I thinking?). First shot: straight over the top of the target, straight through the glass window of the shed, missing the lawnmower by mere inches. Second shot: overcompensating for the height... straight under the shed. Frightened cat comes bolting out from under it. I didn't give up my day job to become a hunter.
