Saturday Statuary - Chair

Huh? Isn't that misspelled, or is there some sort of intent I'm missing? Were there four more chairs as part of this display?

Not a misspelling, Speedway; simply a grammatical variation.
The chair is singular but it is placed in front of five marble objects indicating the five senses. They turn up regularly in my photos as they are positioned in front of Thomas Browne's statue opposite our Breakfast Club venue.

If I were going to sit there for long, I'd prefer a chair with padding to allay the sensation of pain and discomfort

Ms.M. the chair is outside a McD so the clientele bring their own padding.
