Friday Morning Wood - Evolution Schmeevolution

The trouble with coming down out of the trees and walking upright is that it's a bugger to get back up in the trees again.
I've always thought we should never have left the oceans.
Evolution? Who needs it?

Gorgeous tree, sugar! What a delight to see children enjoying it, too. I'm all caught up on your posts I've missed since the coconut krewe invasion and departure! xoxoxox

That's quite a tree! It must look spooky at night. Reminds me of something out of Tolkien.

It's a fun tree. An ancient plane tree in Blickling Park, not far from the lake. In my younger days I've been way up to the top of it but not for many a long year now.

What a great tree. I used to hang out in a weeping willow when I didn't want to go to class (high school). It was right outside of my school building.

One of the worst things about growing old is no longer being able to hang around in trees, Neetzy.
